"In the process of reconstruction" during our survey, this hotel "has potential" say fans citing the already "attractively furnished and maintained" rooms, "big" beds and marble-and-dark-wood public spaces; the "staff is friendly and professional" and the "convenient" location is minutes from Quassy Park and the highway, but what a few call a "miserable" breakfast mars the experience.

Good value, great location, friendly /helpful staff.
The water/sink/shower had problems on the morning we left, the water was orange colored.
I would stay here again, I thought it was a great hotel.

The breakfast in the dining room was exceptional!
The hallways were rather chilly.
A good business and leisure stay in the heart of Connecticut! The location is convenient (right off the highway) but the rooms are quiet and well appointed. Good TV, WiFi, comfortable beds, good shower and convenient restaurant made this a wonderful stay! ...read more

Very convenient location right off the highway.
Somewhat isolated, so there aren't many other options nearby.
Clean and comfortable hotel with convenient access right off the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel.

Rooms were very clean and quiet.
The breakfast was cold and hostess seemed fairly aloof/inattentive considering there were only a handful of people dining when we were.
The Exterior of the hotel was somewhat worn and the parking lot badly needed resurfacing which belied the fact that the interior was very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, however not always "on duty". It may have been a slow weekend, but it appears somewhat unprofessional when no one is attending the desk. ...read more
